🤐 Arcium Private Testnet

Arcium is a decentralized, encrypted platform designed to overcome the transparency challenges of blockchains like Solana.

Arcium introduces a modular private compute network that enables shared private state, allowing multiple parties to compute on encrypted data without ever exposing the underlying plaintext.

This breakthrough is achieved through the use of Multi-Party Computation (MPC), where independent nodes collaborate to execute computations securely.

Built around a decentralized encrypted platform, Arcium’s architecture is divided into several key components.

  • ArxOS: Arcium’s distributed operating system coordinates the network’s nodes and clusters, similar to a traditional operating system's cores and processes.
  • MXEs (Multi-Party eXecution Environments): These are configurable virtual environments where encrypted computations occur in parallel. MXEs can be either persistent or single-use, depending on the application’s requirements.
  • Arcis Framework: A Rust-based developer toolkit, Arcis lets developers create secure MPC circuits by “masking” standard data types, ensuring that sensitive computations remain encrypted.

By integrating directly with Solana via extensions to the Anchor framework, Arcium makes it straightforward for developers to incorporate confidential computations into their applications, creating a path for solutions in areas like dark pool trading, private AI, and secure gaming.

Solana developers can leverage Arcium to build encrypted on-chain order books, confidential trading systems, and other privacy-preserving applications that combine security with high performance.

Cohort 2 of the Private Testnet is now open for Solana builders and teams, with access granted on a rolling basis.

👛 Crossmint Smart Wallets

Solana Smart Wallets from Crossmint are a new generation of programmable wallets designed for mass adoption.

Unlike traditional embedded wallets that mainly secure a private key with social logins, these smart wallets are built as programmable smart contracts, delivering significant UX and security improvements.

They eliminate transaction approval prompts and the need for seeds or private keys that can be lost, making them more robust and user-friendly for both everyday users and enterprise-grade applications.

Developers can deploy these wallets with as little as 10 lines of code, while also benefiting from a wide variety of signers, including passkeys, social logins, MPC, and even external wallets like Phantom.

The process involves setting up a developer account, obtaining an API key with the appropriate scopes, choosing the desired wallet type, and then deploying the wallet through provided code samples.

Solana Smart Wallets offer a secure and scalable wallet infrastructure that opens new possibilities for developers.
